Lightning players were surprised to learn of Kucherov\u2019s trade request, but forward Brayden Point<\/a>\u00a0doesn\u2019t believe it will be a distraction for the team.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s his business,\u201d Point said. \u201cHe\u2019s my teammate, he\u2019s my friend, and that\u2019s how I\u2019ll treat him. \u2026 He\u2019s going to play hard. We can\u2019t look into the future. Right now, he\u2019s a Bolt. Like I said, he\u2019s a friend, and that\u2019s how we\u2019ll go about it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Steven Stamkos<\/a> scored the tying goal at 7:27 of the third period on the power play before recording the lone goal of a four-round shootout to win it for Nashville.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been tough this year with the shootouts and overtime and not getting that extra point,\u201d Stamkos said. \u201cObviously we\u2019ve been in a ton of games where we\u2019re getting points. When you start getting the odd one, it starts to accumulate. That was a big win for our group.\u201d<\/p>\n

Adam Edstrom<\/a> scored, and Filip Forsberg<\/a> and Nick Perbix<\/a> each had two assists for the Predators (5-4-5), who had lost two in a row and seven of nine (2-3-4). Justus Annunen<\/a>\u00a0made 22 saves before stopping all four Tampa Bay attempts in the shootout.<\/p>\n
