He is scheduled to become a restricted free agent at the end of the 2026-27 campaign.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Wright recorded 19 goals and 44 points in 79 games in his first full season in the NHL in 2024-25.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Drafted fourth overall by the Kraken in 2022, Wright has 36 goals and 78 points in 169 career games.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The Burlington, Ont., native represented Canada at the 2023 World Juniors, recording four goals and seven points and taking home a gold medal.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cWe are excited to add Shane to our mix of forwards,\u201d Predators general manager and president of hockey operations Chris MacFarland said in a statement. \u201cWe feel he will bring a strong, two-way game to our team and will add to the pace of our lineup.
