The first native in-game screenshots have also been released alongside the NASCAR 25 game cover.<\/p>\n

Christopher Bell, William Byron and Ryan Blaney will adorn the front cover, and digital art, for the upcoming NASCAR game.<\/p>\n

When NASCAR 25<\/a> releases on 14th October<\/a> for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S \u2013 a PC release window is not yet known \u2013 it will mark the first official game on those devices since 2021. NASCAR Rivals was the last non-pure-arcade spin-off, as a Nintendo Switch exclusive in 2022.<\/p>\n

Under the iRacing Studios banner, it seemed inevitable that Byron would be involved. His #24 Camaro has been prominent so far in game teasers, such as the release date confirmation<\/a>. Not only that, but the Charlottean is said to have had his interest in the sport piqued by video games \u2013 firstly NASCAR 07 on the PlayStation Portable, before progression onto home consoles and PC simulation iRacing.<\/p>\n

As he represents the Chevrolet car brand on the cover, he\u2019s joined by one Toyota driver (Bell) and one Ford competitor (Blaney), so all three Cup Series manufacturers are present.<\/p>\n

As there is alliteration in the 2025 lineup, expect the next official NASCAR game cover to feature Austin Cindric, Cole Custer and Ross Chastain\u2026<\/p>\n

In-game screenshots<\/p>\n

NASCAR 25 is the first time the Minnesota-based Monster Games development team has used Unreal Engine for the graphics, and the first time iRacing has published a title using the tech.<\/p>\n

Consequently, the first images \u2013 which show each of the four NASCAR classes included \u2013 show detailed car models and sharp track surface detail.<\/p>\n

But as ever with Unreal, how the game runs will be the acid test. Many driving games have used Epic\u2019s code, but few have pulled off something that avoids detail pop-in and irksome framerate changes.<\/p>\n
