A total of 261 games will feature Hometown Remix jerseys, with 19 head-to-head matchups.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTogether with Fanatics and our clubs, we\u2019ve created designs that are rooted in local identity and tell a story about the cities and fans they represent. We\u2019re incredibly excited to bring the program to life and see that passion reflected both on the ice and in the stands,\u201d NHL executive Brian Jennings said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>The Canadiens will wear their hometown remix jerseys seven times this season, beginning Tuesday when they host the Winnipeg Jets at the Bell Centre.<\/p>\n<p>The jersey features \u201cwhite pine,\u00a0fleur de lys, rose, thistle, and clover\u201d on the sleeves and the Canadiens crest includes etched architectural detailing\u2014a nod to the city\u2019s iconic stonework and historic streets.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe side panels feature a gradient inspired by Mount Royal. On the hem, four fleur de lys bookend the city name, grounding the jersey in Quebec pride. And completing the look is a new number system inspired by the iconography of Old Montreal,\u201d the team wrote in a news release. \u201cThis jersey is a tribute to culture, community, and the city\u2019s timeless spirit.
