WNBA players Paige Bueckers and Azzi Fudd revealed they secretly parted ways a year ago — before Fudd was drafted into the Dallas Wings in April.

“Paige and I have something we want to share with everyone,” Fudd began during the “Fudd Around and Find Out” podcast on Friday, which saw Bueckers appear as a guest. “We are no longer together.”

She added, “You know everybody’s gonna be like, ‘Oh my gosh, they’re teammates, how is this gonna work?’ We were not together before she got drafted, so all those narratives can go to bed.”
