The Swiss brand will be finally in the top level of women\u2019s cycling next year. For 2027, it will be partnering with Spanish team Laboral Kutxa-Fundaci\u00f3n Euskadi as its official technical supplier.<\/p>\n<p>The Swiss brand will provide the team with the whole kit and kaboodle when it comes to the team\u2019s machines. That means framesets, cockpits and hoops.<\/p>\n<p>It comes at a time when women\u2019s cycling continues to grow and gain popularity. More races, more coverage, more teams\u2013and that\u2019s why <a href=\"https:\/\/bmc-switzerland.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">BMC<\/a> says returning to women\u2019s professional racing is clutch.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWomen\u2019s racing is thrilling, inspiring, dynamic and growing rapidly worldwide,\u201d Heine said.<\/p>\n<p>For Laboral Kutxa-Fundaci\u00f3n Euskadi, it\u2019s all about growth too. The deal brings one of the more well-known gear partners on board. It\u2019s important to the ProTeam as the team looks to build on its spot in the international peloton.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are excited with this partnership with <a href=\"https:\/\/cyclingmagazine.ca\/mtb\/bmc-joins-growing-list-of-teams-ditching-world-cup-for-gravel-privateers\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">BMC<\/a>,\u201d I\u00f1aki Isasi, president of Fundaci\u00f3n Euskadi, said. \u201cTheir technical standards and culture of performance correspond to the ambitions of our team.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The team is expected to race a pretty busy international calendar in 2027. That means the Giro d\u2019Italia, the Tour de France Femmes and La Vuelta Femenina.\u00a0They also plan to go to several of the biggest one-day Classics. With all those races, it means its existing ranking has already secured invitations to major events. So that gives BMC plenty of opportunities to get its equipment in front of a global audience.<\/p>\n<p>For BMC, the agreement is also a chance to reconnect with women\u2019s racing after an absence from the top level. It\u2019s been a minute, but in 2008, BMC sponsored Proman Cycling. And six years ago they partnered with PatoBike\u2013BMC.<\/p>\n<p>The 2027 squad is mostly Spanish, but there are a few others from different countries, including Norway, Italy, Chile and Ukraine.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Some big news from BMC.
