BRENDAN RODGERS has hinted there could be some frantic action in the transfer market this week.<\/p>\n

The Celtic manager is preparing his players for tomorrow night\u2019s winner-take-all second leg of the Champions League play-off against Kairat Almaty in Kazakhstan after last week\u2019s goalless draw at Parkhead.<\/p>\n

There is a cash prize of \u00a340million up for grabs for the winners, but the Hoops gaffer took his focus off Europe to offer an update on transfer speculation.<\/p>\n

Asked if there will be any movement in the market before Monday\u2019s 7pm deadline, Rodgers, speaking to the Daily Record<\/a>, answered: \u201cThere might be.<\/p>\n

As ever, the Celtic boss refused to reveal identities, but it seems certain Michel-Ange\u2019s \u00a34.5million deal from Royal Antwerp will be finalised within the next few days, as CQN<\/a> reported earlier today.<\/p>\n

The Hoops are also in advanced negotiations with\u00a0Boca Juniors over a deal for Uruguay international left-back Marcelo Saracchi.<\/p>\n

There are reports\u00a0that a temporary transfer deal with the option for a permanent deal in the summer is close to being finalised.<\/p>\n

And there have been developments concerning \u00a37million-rated Romanian striker\u00a0Louis Munteanu who has been reportedly fined by Cluj after going AWOL during the week in an effort to force a move away from the club.<\/p>\n

CHEERIO, TILIO\u2026Celtic winger Marco Tilio has sealed his move to Rapid Vienna.<\/p>\n

The hitman, who scored 25 goals last season, was dropped from the matchday squad for Sunday\u2019s 4-1 defeat to O\u021belul and apparently now faces a cash punishment by Cluj.<\/p>\n

In the meantime, Australian international winger Marco Tilio has sealed his \u00a31.3million four-year switch from the champions to Rapid Vienna, as CQN<\/a> reported last week.<\/p>\n

The 24-year-old flanker joined from A-League outfit\u00a0Melbourne City in the summer 2023, but played a mere TWENTY-EIGHT minutes in two cameo appearances for the first team.<\/p>\n

In a post on social media site X, Celtic said: \u201cWe can confirm that Marco Tilio has joined Rapid Vienna.<\/p>\n
