The odds for who will emerge as the 2025 NASCAR<\/a> Cup Series champion have been updated following this past weekend\u2019s regular season finale at Daytona. Ryan Blaney powered his way to Victory Lane for his second win of the year, dashing the hopes of a potential Cinderella story knocking a bubble driver out of the Top 16.<\/p>\n

Next up, the Cup Series returns to\u00a0The Lady in Black. Earlier this season, Denny Hamlin edged out William Byron for the win at the historic track, which was one of his four victories so far in 2025.<\/p>\n

With that in mind, BetMGM Sportsbook<\/a> has released its updated betting lines for which driver will stand above all at the end of the year as champion after all of the action in South Carolina. Here\u2019s where each wheelman stands entering Darlington, and the start of the playoffs this coming weekend.<\/p>\n

Kyle Larson (+400)<\/p>\n

Daytona is usually pretty unkind to Kyle Larson. However, it wasn\u2019t too bad to him this past weekend, as he notched a top-ten, finishing P6 in Florida. <\/p>\n

Over the course of his Cup Series career, Larson has found immense success at Darlington. He has three runner-up finishes, but those all came before his first win at the track in September of 2023. We\u2019ll see if win No. 2 is on the docket this time around.<\/p>\n

Denny Hamlin (+400)<\/p>\n

Denny Hamlin wasn\u2019t much of a factor at Daytona this past weekend. He ended up finishing P25 when it was all said and done, an uncharacteristic performance from the Joe Gibbs Racing star. <\/p>\n

This will be Hamlin\u2019s 27th time racing at Darlington. He has five wins at the track. We\u2019ll see if Hamlin can start the playoffs with a sweep of The Lady in Black this season.<\/p>\n

Christopher Bell (+475)<\/p>\n

Christopher Bell notched a solid P13 at Daytona this past weekend. It was a great finish to a stellar regular season for Bell, as he looks to earn his first championship this season.<\/p>\n

Moving forward to Darlington, Bell has never won at the South Carolina-based track. He did finish P3 at the venue last September though. Ironically, he finished third once again this past spring. Maybe he\u2019s figured something out that he can use this weekend.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ryan Blaney (+600)<\/p>\n

Ryan Blaney closed out the regular season with a bang. He\u2019ll begin his hunt for his second career Cup Series title fresh off his second win of the season at Daytona this past weekend. <\/p>\n

Darlington was unkind to Blaney in 2024. He finished P36 and P37 in the two trips the Cup Series made to South Carolina. However, he finished fifth earlier this season, so the former NASCAR Cup Series champion is hoping to continue hitting his stride.<\/p>\n

William Byron (+650)<\/p>\n

William Byron didn\u2019t have much to race for at Daytona, already having the regular season title locked up for the Cup Series. He ended up finishing P19 when the checkered flag waved.<\/p>\n

The reigning back-to-back Daytona 500 winner has one win at Darlington, and that came in 2023. He\u2019s usually more than solid in South Carolina, like when he finished as the runner-up back in April, so expect Byron to be a factor.<\/p>\n

Chase Elliott (+800)<\/p>\n

\"Chase(Jim Dedmon)<\/p>\n

Chase Elliott was able to finish out the regular season with another top-ten finish. He came home P10 at Daytona this past weekend.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately for Elliott, Darlington isn\u2019t one of his better tracks. He\u2019s only finished in the top three once in 17 tries. Time will tell if he can have a better experience this time around.<\/p>\n

Chase Briscoe (+1400)<\/p>\n

Chase Briscoe wanted to notch another win before the regular season came to a close, but he couldn\u2019t get the job done at Daytona. He came home P23 when the checkered flag waved.<\/p>\n

Of course, Briscoe won the last Darlington fall race, so it\u2019s easy to see why he\u2019s one of the favorites this time around. Don\u2019t count out the No. 19 as he looks to make a run at the title in Year 1 with Joe Gibbs Racing.<\/p>\n

Joey Logano (+1600)<\/p>\n

P27 was the result for Joey Logano at Daytona. His one win on the season locked him into the playoffs, where he shines, so expect him to ramp up production over the next couple of weeks.<\/p>\n

Darlington is a track where Logano has a wealth of experience. This will be his 24th time racing at The Lady in Black. He only has one win, but don\u2019t count out the Penske Racing star in South Carolina when the green flag drops.<\/p>\n
