Matthew Broderick<\/a> and Alan Ruck\u2019s<\/a> sing-along covered all the bases.<\/p>\n

The \u201cFerris Bueller\u2019s Day Off\u201d stars led baseball attendees in a sing-along<\/a> of \u201cTake Me Out to the Ball Game\u201d while at Nat Bailey Stadium in Vancouver, Canada, on Sunday.<\/p>\n

During the Vancouver Canadians versus the AquaSox game, Broderick, 63, and Ruck, 69,\u00a0both dressed in t-shirts, hoodies, and glasses, sang into the microphone as the crowd chimed in.<\/p>\n

The mini reunion comes 39 years after the actors starred in the high school comedy together in 1986.<\/p>\n

The John Hughes movie sees Ferris skipping school and having everything go his way.<\/p>\n

Broderick portrayed the lead, Ferris Bueller, while Ruck played his best friend, Cameron Frye, who wasn\u2019t as lucky.<\/p>\n

In the cult classic, the best friends attend a baseball game at Chicago\u2019s Wrigley Field, alongside Ferris\u2019 girlfriend Sloane (Mia Sara) \u2014 and try to avoid their high school principal (Jeffrey Jones).<\/p>\n

Broderick and Ruck are currently in Vancouver shooting another project together.<\/p>\n

The \u201cInspector Gadget\u201d actor and \u201cSuccession\u201d alum are reuniting for\u00a0\u201cThe Best is Yet to Come.\u201d<\/p>\n

The project is reminiscent of their iconic \u201980s comedy and follows two friends who embark on a road trip.<\/p>\n

In the Jon Turteltaub film, Broderick and Ruck \u201cplay best friends who, through a colossal misunderstanding that creates a ticking clock, hop in a car to find the estranged son of one of them and also try to do all the things that life has prevented them from doing,\u201d according to\u00a0Deadline<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, Broderick and Ruck were seen filming their latest project in Vancouver<\/a>.<\/p>\n

While on set, the actors were joined by Ruck\u2019s wife, actress Mireille Enos, and their two children.<\/p>\n

Before \u201cFerris Bueller,\u201d Broderick and Ruck previously worked together in a 1985 Broadway production of\u00a0\u201cBiloxi Blues.\u201d<\/p>\n

They also co-starred in the 1998 drama, \u201cWalking to the Waterline.\u201d<\/p>\n

Broderick supported Ruck in May 2023 during the\u00a0\u201cSuccession\u201d Season 4<\/a>\u00a0premiere in New York City. <\/p>\n

HBO\u00a0shared a clip<\/a>\u00a0to social media, writing, \u201cLife moves pretty fast.\u201d<\/p>\n

In April 2023, the actors spoke about their long-lasting friendship during a chat for\u00a0Interview Magazine<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Ruck admitted he owes Broderick for his career in Hollywood.<\/p>\n

\u201cBecause if there was no Matthew Broderick, there probably wouldn\u2019t have been a\u00a0\u2018Biloxi Blues,\u2019 and that was a major springboard for me,\u201d the \u201cSpeed\u201d star explained. \u201cIf it wasn\u2019t for\u00a0\u2018Biloxi Blues,\u2019 \u2018Ferris Bueller\u2019 wouldn\u2019t have happened for me. I\u2019ve told you this before, but I think in a previous life you saved me from some horrible death.\u201d<\/p>\n

In February 2024, it was announced that a \u201cFerris Bueller\u201d spinoff was in the works.<\/p>\n

According to The Hollywood Reporter<\/a>, the follow-up movie\u00a0\u201cSam and Victor\u2019s Day Off\u201d will focus on the two valets who borrow the Ferrari belonging to Cameron\u2019s dad in the original film.<\/p>\n
