Damien Leone is still working on the script for the hotly anticipated Terrifier 4, and he\u2019s spilled just a few more little beans in a conversation with Collider<\/a> this week.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve seen Art the Clown do a whole lot of killing across three movies in\u00a0Damien Leone\u2019s\u00a0gory\u00a0Terrifier\u00a0franchise, but we still know very little about the character and how he came to be the nightmare he is today. Leone had recently promised that the upcoming\u00a0Terrifier 4, however, will \u201cfinally reveal Art\u2019s origin,\u201d likely \u201cin the first 15 minutes of the movie.\u201d<\/p>\n

Leone speaks more on that in his chat with Collider. He explains to the outlet that he\u2019s afraid to peel back the curtain too far, but that we can indeed expect some answers in Terrifier 4.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love the mystique,\u201d Leone explains. \u201cThat\u2019s the most important part, even if people don\u2019t realize it because they\u2019re just so hungry to know what his deal is. I think a lot of people don\u2019t realize the reason he works so well is because of the mystique. If you pull the curtain back too far, and you lose that mystique, it\u2019s over. You\u2019re not supposed to see the wizard behind the curtain. It\u2019s almost always a disappointment.\u201d The filmmaker continues, however, \u201cI think there\u2019s a way with his origin to have my cake and eat it too, but we\u2019ll find out. I am taking a bit of a risk, but I\u2019m very well aware about losing that mystique at the same time, so we\u2019ll see if it plays out. I think the majority of people are going to be very cool with it.\u201d<\/p>\n

At the same time, Leone does promise \u201ca lot of answers\u2026 maybe to a fault.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe script for Terrifier 4\u00a0is under way and it is shaping up to be the most\u00a0epic, horrifying, thrilling, emotional and satisfying conclusion\u00a0to the\u00a0Terrifier\u00a0saga,\u201d Leone recently teased.<\/p>\n

David Howard Thornton\u00a0and\u00a0Lauren LaVera\u00a0are expected to return as iconic villain Art the Clown and beloved final girl Sienna Shaw. Expect more on\u00a0Terrifier 4\u00a0soon.<\/p>\n
