\u201cRRR\u201d director S.S. Rajamouli has unveiled the teaser for \u201cBaahubali: The Epic.\u201d<\/p>\n

Released worldwide between 2015 and 2018, the \u201cBaahubali\u201d films \u2013 \u201cBaahubali: The Beginning\u201d and \u201cBaahubali 2: The Conclusion\u201d \u2013 directed by\u00a0Rajamouli and produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni for Arka Mediaworks, were made on a combined budget of $70 million and collected $370 million globally. Presented in Telugu and Tamil, and several dubbed versions, the films featured Indian stars\u00a0Prabhas<\/a>, Rana Daggubati, Ramya Krishnan, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah Bhatia. On its own, \u201cBaahubali 2: The Conclusion\u201d is the second highest grossing Indian film of all time, after \u201cDangal.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the \u201cBaahubali\u201d films, when a lost prince is rescued and raised in exile, he grows up unaware of his past. Years later, he returns to uncover the truth about his father\u2019s murder and his mother\u2019s imprisonment, and must rise to reclaim his place as the rightful king. Baahubali (Prabhas) and Bhallaladeva (Daggubati) are the protagonist and antagonist respectively.<\/p>\n

Now, for the 10th anniversary of the saga, the epic tale of royalty, revenge, kings, and wars has been re-edited by Rajamouli from two films into a single film, with fully remastered picture and sound \u2013 \u201cand a few new surprises\u201d as the producers claim.<\/p>\n

Post the \u201cBaahubali\u201d films, five seasons of animated series \u201cBaahubali: The Lost Legends,\u201d produced by Arka and Graphic India were released on Amazon Prime Video.<\/p>\n

Rajamouli went on to direct anti-colonial saga \u201cRRR,\u201d starring NTR Jr and Ram Charan, which won an Oscar and a Golden Globe and is the fourth highest grossing Indian film of all time.<\/p>\n

The filmmaker is currently filming his next feature, which is an as-yet-untitled globe-trotting adventure inspired by the \u201cIndiana Jones\u201d and \u201cJames Bond\u201d franchises starring Indian superstar Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.<\/p>\n

\u201cBaahubali: The Epic\u201d releases worldwide Oct. 31.<\/p>\n
