The New England Patriots made a host of roster cuts Tuesday to shrink their roster to 53 players by 4 p.m. ET.<\/p>\n
But their most notable moves were the ones they didn’t make.<\/p>\n
The Patriots opted to keep eight wide receivers on their initial 53-man roster, as veteran Kendrick Bourne, second-year wideout Javon Baker and undrafted rookie Efton Chism III all made the team. Veteran safety Kyle Dugger and linebacker Anfernee Jennings both survived roster cuts and trade speculation<\/a> to stay on the squad as well.<\/p>\n There’s likely another shoe to drop soon, as players could be placed on injured reserve or released after Tuesday’s deadline.
