It\u2019s a little low compared to last year\u2019s numbers, 1.95 rating and 3.5 million viewers in 2024. <\/p>\n<p>Stern pointed out that the 3.5 million viewers for the race was still good enough to be the No. 2 sporting event of the week on broadcast TV, only trailing the final four of the PGA Tour Championship. Additionally, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/jeff_gluck\/status\/1960426905376526701\" rel=\"nofollow\">Jeff Gluck of <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/jeff_gluck\/status\/1960426905376526701\" rel=\"nofollow\">The Athletic<\/a> said that the second Daytona race of the year was NASCAR\u2019s most-watched race since Talladega in April (four million). <\/p>\n<p>NASCAR fans saw an exciting race at Daytona that had multiple wrecks and 19 drivers having the lead. Ultimately, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/pro\/news\/ryan-blaney-wins-coke-zero-400-in-four-wide-photo-finish-after-epic-final-lap-at-daytona\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ryan Blaney won the race <\/a>to claim his second victory of the season. <\/p>\n<p>Ryan Blaney reacts to winning NASCAR regular season finale at Daytona <\/p>\n<p>During his post-race press conference, Blaney talked about going from 13th place to first in the final two laps. \u201cIt\u2019s just situational stuff. On the restart, I was behind Cole [Custer]. I told Timmy [Fedewa] to tell Cole\u2019s spotter if you want to jump to the third lane, I\u2019m on board. You\u2019ve got a wing man. I feel like we would drag other people up.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was big to try to be the first guys up there, like before it gets log-jammed. He never went for a while, and so I never went because I\u2019m like, I\u2019m going to wait on Cole to go.
