Potentially dangerous prescription medications will be safely collected on Saturday, October 25th.  Sheboygan County joins others around the nation that day for National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.  Locally it’s an effort of Healthy Sheboygan County in cooperation with the Wisconsin Department of Justice, and the federal Drug Enforcement Administration.

Collection takes place between 10 AM and 1 PM at four locations:

Generations at 1500 Douglas Drive, Plymouth

Random Lake Fire Department

Sheboygan Falls Police Department

HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan

Both prescription and OTC medications including ointments, patches, inhalers and such should preferably be in their labeled containers, and you can cross off personal info if you wish.  Illicit substances like THC, marijuana and methamphetamine are not included in this collection.
