Irish actor Barry Keoghan is sporting a dramatic hair transformation for his role in the upcoming crime-action film Crime 101, which is due for release next year.
Keoghan joins a major ensemble cast that includes Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Halle Berry, Monica Barbaro, Corey Hawkins, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Nick Nolte.
The film is an adaptation of the novella of the same name by Don Winslow.
Hemsworth plays a thief executing audacious robberies along Los Angeles’s iconic 101 Freeway, planning what he hopes will be his final job. He becomes unexpectedly allied with Berry’s character, a disillusioned insurance broker. Tensions rise when Ruffalo’s detective character closes in.
The film is directed by Bart Layton (known for The Imposter) and is due for release in Ireland early next year.
