The Fantastic Four: First Steps is coming to streaming soon. The Marvel Cinematic Universe had a busy year, with three new MCU movies being released in 2025, as well as multiple live-action and animated series. Of all the MCU movies released this year, The Fantastic Four: First Steps was undoubtedly the most successful. The film ended its box office run with $522 million.
Since its July release date, fans have been wondering when The Fantastic Four First Steps would be available on Disney+. Over the last couple of months, Marvel’s First Family came closer and closer to its streaming release. First, the MCU Fantastic Four movie was made available on VOD, with its digital release happening on September 23.
Then, the MCU film recently became available on physical media, with fans having the option of purchasing it on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD starting on October 14. As with all MCU movies, after its physical release date, all that was left was a Disney+ announcement. That has now come.
Marvel Studios has revealed that The Fantastic Four: First Steps will be released on Disney+ on November 5. Alongside the announcement, Marvel also unveiled a new teaser for The Fantastic Four: First Steps. The announcement comes almost exactly three months after the film’s theatrical release, which took place on July 25.
The MCU movie will be available in IMAX Enhanced when it arrives on Disney+. Additionally, fans can also listen to Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps Original Motion Picture Soundtrack from composer Michael Giacchino on digital platforms. A 2-disc 12″ translucent vinyl album is also available today and can be purchased at Disney Music Emporium and select retailers.
The MCU’s Fantastic Four will next return in 2026’s Avengers: Doomsday. Given that Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom made his MCU debut in The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ post-credits scene, directly tying him to the team and the young Franklin Richards, the heroes should play a major role in the first Avengers movie of the Multiverse Saga.
In the comics, both Reed Richards and Franklin play pivotal roles in the story that inspires 2027’s Avengers: Secret Wars. As such, fans can expect great things from Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach’s MCU futures. With the film arriving on Disney+ on November 5, Marvel is giving everyone more than a year to be up-to-date on the Fantastic Four’s story.
At this time, a sequel to The Fantastic Four: First Steps has yet to be announced. However, given the positive reception to the movie and its record-breaking nature, it is the highest-grossing Fantastic Four movie ever, the team’s chances of returning for a sequel are looking good. For now, fans can catch The Fantastic Four: First Steps on Disney+ soon.
