Irish exports will grow by 7.5pc this year and by another 4.5pc in 2026, according to a new economic forecast from Bank of Ireland.
As the uncertainty over US president Donald Trump’s trade policies dissipates, it is becoming clear Ireland is getting off lightly under the new tariff regime. While a 15pc levy has been placed by the US on imports from the EU, the impact on Ireland is minimal as pharmaceutical products are not included.
