Drag performer La Voix has been dealt a fresh blow ahead of tonight’s Strictly Come Dancing following a difficult experience last week.
The RuPaul’s Drag Race UK finalist, whose real name is Christopher Dennis, suffered mishaps in her Cha Cha Cha alongside dance partner Aljaž Škorjanec, leading judge Shirley Ballas giving the pair a score of two.
The couple found themselves escaping the dreaded dance-off though, but things might be different this week.
According to the latest odds, La Voix has been placed as the second favourite to leave the show.

BetMGM has revealed Balvinder Sopal is the even-money favourite to make an exit after surviving two dance-offs, but La Voix is very close behind with odds of 5/4.
La Voix is no doubt aiming to bounce back after last weekend’s disaster, with the drag star hoping to channel Cher in icon’s week tonight.
She and Mr Škorjanec are set to perform a salsa to the legendary performer’s hit song, Strong Enough.
Brand Director at BetMGM, Dan Towse, said: “She might have dodged the exit door last week, but Balvinder Sopal might not be as lucky this weekend as we make her the favourite to be eliminated.
Balvinder Sopal and Julian Callion are also among the favourites to leave

“She’s even-money to be voted off on Sunday, with La Voix seemingly her only other rival for the exit door at 5/4.
“In terms of the outright betting, George Clarke looks very much the one to beat now and he’s in fact now gone odds-on to lift the Glitterball trophy.”
EastEnders star Ms Sopal will also be hoping for a fresh start this week as she and partner Julian Callion take on a quickstep to Texas Hold Em’ by Beyonce.
Last week, fans saw Chris Robshaw and dancer Nadiya Bychkova bidding farewell to the ballroom after being eliminated.
LATEST BBC STRICTLY DEVELOPMENTS
While Ms Sopal’s scores and feedback from the judges had been respectable, it had been a close call as to who went home, with the judges split down the middle on who to save.
Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke opted to save Mr Robshaw, with Motsi Mabuse and last week’s deciding judge Craig Revel Horwood saving the actress.
After a graceful and poignant exit speech, in which he thanked his partner, former rugby star Mr Robshaw took to social media after Sunday’s show to share another tribute about his stint on the series.
In a lengthy Instagram post, he began: “My @bbcstrictly chapter unfortunately comes to an end.

“I want to say a massive thank you to my partner @nadiyabychkova, when we first started the show I had no confidence on the dance floor, sleepless nights before shows and massive doubts in my ability.
“You made the whole experience fun, challenging and rewarding.
“For last night’s show I couldn’t wait to be on the dance floor and show everyone what we had been working on.
The BBC Strictly judges were very critical of La Voix’s performance last week

“We opened the 2025 series with a Samba and a set of 3s, to last night risking it all with daring lifts, a pair of 7s and loving the salsa.”
The 39-year-old expressed guilt as he continued: “Am sorry we couldn’t go further but am thrilled we jumped in every session and went all in every show, finishing with our highest score and some moves which hadn’t been seen together on the Strictly floor.”
The sportsman went on to thank his wife and urge others to try new things by stepping out of their comfort zone.
