Kim Kardashian is not here for any concerns about daughter North West’s headline-making TikTok, in which the 12-year-old sported fake facial tattoos and a faux septum piercing.
On Kardashian and North’s shared TikTok account, the preteen recently shared a series of photos hanging out with her friends, in which all three color-coordinated bright neon looks (North, for her part, went with a sky blue theme.) Each girl sported vivid hair, drawn-on tattoos and apparent contact lenses — or a filter — where each girl matched her irises to the color of her colorful locks. Matching nail art and nose piercings completed their looks, while North, for her part, added blacked-out grills to her teeth.
The video garnered a ton of attention and backlash, with many criticizing Kardashian’s parenting and disapproval of North’s playful look. But when the Daily Mail Australia posted their own TikTok about the photos — “What in the Kanye West is happening?” the caption read, quoting one reaction — that’s when Kardashian stepped in. (The Kardashians star and ex-husband West share eldest daughter North as well as three other children.)
“this is such a non-issue😭,” Kardashian commented on the post, which featured the headline, “North West, 12, Worries Fans With New Look.”
Plenty of others agreed with the mom of four, defending North for dressing up and having fun.

“all this because she put eyeliner on her cheeks? damn,” one person wrote.
“If I had money at 12 I’d be dressing up too, jealously isn’t cute y’all 😭,” said another user.
“Guys this IS 12,” a third fan explained. “I tried the same looks at 12 I just didn’t have social media and my parents weren’t famous so I just myob [mind my own business] like be so for real leave her be.”
While Kardashian recently admitted that she doesn’t always get it right when it comes to allowing North to wear certain outfits — she recently toldCall Her Daddy host Alex Cooper that it was a “mistake” to let her eldest daughter wear a corset in public — she fully supports North’s desire to express her creativity.
“She does listen to me [about fashion], but in other areas, I’m like, ‘Babe, if you want blue hair, it is what it is.’ You know, it makes her so happy,” the SKIMS founder said. “I would never take that creativity away from her.”
