The winning numbers for tonight’s eye watering EuroMillions jackpot of €75,635,350 are in. While there was no outright winner, one Irish player will be celebrating after scooping a six figure prize.
A fortunate ticket holder in Ireland scooped a life changing €405,711 after matching all five numbers, plus one of the two lucky stars. The winning combination was 5, 14, 38, 43, 45 and lucky stars 7 and 11.
National Lottery bosses have issued an urgent appeal for players to check their numbers carefully. As part of that appeal, they have revealed details about where the golden ticket was purchased.
It has been confirmed that the EuroMillions €405,711 prize winner bought their ticket in Co Waterford.
It wasn’t the only big win for Ireland in the main draw as another player matched the five main numbers to pocket a substantial €31,607.
Meanwhile, the top prize in the EuroMillions Plus draw also went unclaimed, but 46 players will each take home €2,000 after matching four of the five winning numbers. And in the Ireland only raffle, ten players also won €5,000 each.
These winners are among over 47,000 people in Ireland who scored prizes in the EuroMillions and Plus games. A National Lottery spokesperson said: “There was no winner of the EuroMillions jackpot. In total, over 47,000 players in Ireland won prizes in the EuroMillions and Plus games, including one winner of the match 5 + One lucky star receiving €405,711. The winning ticket was sold in Waterford.”
