Hollywood just had one of its worst Octobers in almost 30 years, pulling in around $425M at the box office, which is a shockingly low total for a time when movie theaters should be buzzing (via THR). And turns out, while studio releases like Jared Leto’s Tron: Ares were meant to carry the month, it fell flat.

Despite making quite the buzz and aiming to be one of the biggest hits of this year, Tron: Ares, released on October 10, only reached about $65M in the US after three weeks (via The Numbers). And Leto’s film isn’t alone, it joined other box office disappointments like Black Phone 2, and Blue Moon.
