Celebrity chef and television star set to visit Limerick's Milk Market

CELEBRITY chef Neven Maguire will be in the Milk Market on Thursday, as part of filming for his upcoming Christmas special on RTÉ One.

He will spend the afternoon meeting with some of the Milk Market’s artisan food producers and traders.

During his visit, Neven will explore the diverse range of festive foods and local ingredients that make the market such a special destination, from freshly baked breads and cheeses to handmade chocolates and seasonal preserves.

Many of the shops will feature in the Christmas special, which celebrates the best of Irish food and the people behind it.

Shoppers and visitors are encouraged to drop by to catch a glimpse of the filming, meet Neven, and enjoy the Thursday outdoor café of six food shops and four specialist craft and vintage shops.

Neven will be present under the canopy from 1pm.

Milk Market boss David Fitzgerald said the event promises “culinary magic and plenty of inspiration.”
