While you might think that a cheesy pizza or a hearty spice bag would be the most popular takeaway in Ireland, you’d be wrong.
The latest data from Deliveroo’s ‘Deliveroo 100’ report has revealed the top trending takeaway dishes in Ireland and across the globe, and for the Irish, burgers have taken the top spot.
Each year, the food-filled report charts the most popular and fastest-rising delivery trends across nine global markets, and 2025’s edition shows Ireland is one of the world leaders.
This year, the Dash Double Smash from Dash Burger won over the stomachs of Ireland – it even features at number five on the global trending list.
In fact, 13 Irish dishes feature in the global trending list, including the Half & Half burrito from Tula in Dublin, Pitt Bros Bacon and Cheese from Pitt Bros BBQ in Cork and Benny’s Burger Deal from Benny’s in Galway.
