Dublin 6 has claimed the title of the most expensive Eircode in Ireland, with the median price paid for a home in the south Dublin suburb rising to almost €800,000.

According to the a new housing market report from Irish home valuation firm Geowox, home sales prices in Ireland have risen 8.5 per cent year over year, with the median price for an Irish home sold in the third quarter of 2025 reaching €385,000, a €30K increase compared to the same time last year.

Out of the top 25 urban centres, Dublin City was the most expensive at a median price of €568K, while Longford was the most affordable at €240K.

In Dublin City, the median price paid for a home in Dublin 6 in the third quarter of 2025 was €789,000, while the lowest was in Dublin 10 at €330K.

Dublin 6 has fast become one of the most desirable locations in the country, offering a unique blend of urban convenience and suburban charm, with the likes of Bushy Park and the Stella Cinema on your doorstep.
