Johnny Kenny and Jamie McGrath have been added to the Ireland squad ahead of games with Portugal and Hungary.
Striker Evan Ferguson ruled out of Thursday’s match against Portugal due to injury.
Indeed, Ferguson will remain with his club, AS Roma, to continue his rehabilitation with the hope of being available for selection for the second match of the window against Hungary on Sunday.
Celtic striker Johnny Kenny has been called into the senior squad to replace Ferguson. Kenny comes into the group following a period of impressive form for the Scottish Premiership side.
Whereas, Bristol City midfielder Mark Sykes will miss both fixtures through injury. Whereas, Hibernian midfielder Jamie McGrath called into the squad as his replacement.
Heimir HallgrÃmsson’s squad will train at the FAI National Training Centre tomorrow as they step up preparations for a huge week.
Ireland welcome Portugal to a sold-out Aviva Stadium on Thursday, November 13th. Then travel to Budapest to face Hungary on Sunday, November 16th.
