Sam Prendergast is expected to return to the Ireland No 10 jersey for Saturday night’s sold-out clash with Australia at the Aviva Stadium (8.10), as head coach Andy Farrell shakes up his team.
The 22-year-old has been on the bench for Ireland’s previous three games, behind Jack Crowley, but Prendergast now looks set to get his chance from the start against Joe Schmidt’s Wallabies.
