What is a set and a rep? Should you work out early or late? And how do you talk to your partner about diet?

Our first listener question comes from Amy who is a total weights beginner and wanted to know what a set and a rep are. I explained, “So, a set is a number of repetitions. Repetitions are how many times you do the exercise. If I said do 10 press ups there, 10 is the rep number and if I said do three sets of that, so you do ten three times and that’s a rep and that’s a set.”
