Maureen Hughes nee Conroy,
Ballinacarra, Kilmaine – suddenly but peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at The Mayo Hospice, Castlebar, Co. Mayo, following a short illness.
Maureen will be dearly missed by her lovingly devoted husband Tom, her cherished, now heartbroken son Declan and daughter-in-law Cara and her adored grandchildren Alanna and Chloe.
Most sorrowfully missed but will be forever remembered with love by her broken hearted parents Francis and Mary Conroy, her brothers Padraic (Josephine) and Martin, her sister Evelyn (deceased husband Richard Finnerty, Ballintubber), nieces Sinead and Siobhan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, all of the extended Hughes and Conroy families and her great friends, neighbours and all those who knew Maureen.

Reposing at Kilmaine Community Centre (F31 RC95) on Friday evening, 14th November, 2025 from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock with private removal afterwards to her home.
Funeral cortege to arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Kilmaine (F31A348) on Saturday morning for Mass of The Resurrection at 11.30 o’clock.
Burial afterwards in The New Cemetery, Kilmaine.
