Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty is trading with gains of just about 10 points. The Nifty index is trading around 24,950, still away from the 25,000 mark. The Sensex index is trading with gains of about 50 points, inclhing towards the 81,600 mark. Adani Enterprises, Shriram Finances, NTPC, Powergrid and Axis Bank are among the gainers.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates:Â The Indian markets are trading on a cautious note as of now, as the Nifty index is trading with gains of about 20 points. After hitting the 25,000 mark for a brief period, the index has now climbed down from the mark. The Sensex index is also up with marginal gains of 40 points, trading closer to the 81,500 mark.
The Nifty did cross 25,000 intraday on Wednesday, but could not hold on to those levels, eventually closing below that mark.
The Nifty Bank is also trading with marginal gains of just about 60 points. In the broader markets, they are trading on the same lines, while carrying better numbers. The Nifty Midcap index is up 80 points. The Nifty Smallcap index is up over 40 points.
Sustaining above 25,000 remains the key for the Nifty, which will bring Wednesday’s high of 25,034 into play. The third day of higher highs and higher lows on the charts would mean the support now moves to Wednesday’s low of 24,916.
