Tom O’Brien passed away on Friday, November 14th, 2025. Unexpectedly at Mullingar General Hospital.

Retired Garda Síochána.

Beloved husband of the late Phil.

Sadly missed by his sorrowing son Vincent (Letterkenny), daughters Jacqueline Walsh (Galway) & Stephanie Shiel (Strokestown), daughter-in-law Patricia, sons-in-law Cam & Coman, grandchildren David, Denise, Eimear, Chloe, Aoife, Kevin, Aidan & Fiona, great grand-children Isabelle, Hazel, Cormac & Caoimhe, his sister Anna McHugh (Headford), brothers-in-law Kevin McHugh & Frank McGrath, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at his home on Sunday, November 16th, from 2pm until 6pm. Removal on Tuesday, November 18th, to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Strokestown, to arrive for Funeral Mass at 11am.
