Funding has been allocated to Cavan-Monaghan ETB for the provision of targeted youth supports.
Minister Helen McEntee has announced the establishment of 10 new UBU Your Place Your Space youth services.
It follows an additional €1.2 million allocation in Budget 2025.
The new services will provide a youth worker-led ‘safe space’ for up to 1,000 disadvantaged young people nationwide.
ETBs will shortly issue calls for local youth organisations to apply to establish and deliver the new services under the funding.
