Two gardaà miraculously walked away unscathed from a horrific crash with their garda patrol car ending up overturned on its roof while en-route to a burglary call.
Both officers, who are experienced and highly respected members of the force, were responding to a call for assistance on Saturday evening following an attempted break-in in north Longford, when their car collided with another vehicle along a stretch of the main N55 between Granard and Edgeworthstown.
