More than 120 pieces will be on display at the Norwich Castle Museum and Art Gallery until Sunday, September 21.
The exhibition, titled One Self: The Creative Life of Colin Self, offers a rare opportunity to explore the career of one of the UK’s most unpredictable and brilliant artists.
The collection celebrates the artist’s significant contribution to 20th-century art, his complex relationship with the London art scene and his deliberate positioning on the margins of the art world.

This includes periods of self-imposed exile and solitude.
The exhibition, created in close collaboration with the artist and his wife, marks a significant occasion for art lovers as it will only be on display at the Norwich Castle Museum and Art Gallery.
The gallery is open from 10am to 4.30pm. The exhibition is included with the general admission fee. Tickets can be booked for set times throughout the day.
