Paytm, an online payments app based out of India, has rolled out a new feature for its users. Currently, transactions that happen on an UPI app can’t be deleted or hidden. But that’s changing with Paytm now. Note that while you still can’t delete the payment transations, you can now hide them. Users can now choose and select transactions they want to hide through simple steps inside Paytm. Note that the transactions aren’t altered or deleted and remain fully secure and accessible whenever required. They are just hidden. Paytm is currently the only app which is offering this ability to the users.

Here’s how users can hide a transaction inside Paytm:
1. Open the Paytm app and go to ‘Balance & History’ section
2. Swipe left on the payment you wish to hide.
3. When the option appears, tap on ‘Hide’ option
4. Confirm by selecting ‘Yes, Hide Payment’
5. The payment will now be hidden from your payment history

Here’s how users can unhide a transactions inside Paytm:
1. Open the Paytm app and go to the ‘Balance & History’ section
2. Tap the three-dot icon on the top-right corner of the screen
3. Select ‘View Hidden Payments’ from the menu.
4. Enter your mobile handset’s access PIN or provide biometric (finger/face) verification in order to view all your hidden payments
5. Swipe left on the transaction you wish to unhide, then tap on ‘Unhide’
6. The transaction will now be visible again in your payment history
