Enterprise Ireland is bringing a 20-strong delegation of high-growth Irish tech companies to Slush 2025, one of Europe’s largest and most influential start-up and venture-capital gatherings.

The event, held annually in Helsinki, is regarded as the biggest concentration of venture capital under one roof, providing a major platform for Irish start-ups aiming to accelerate expansion and secure international investment.

The Nordics have become Enterprise Ireland’s fastest-growing export region, with client exports rising 24% to €2.1bn in 2024.

Finland is the standout performer, emerging as the agency’s most dynamic market.

Against this backdrop, Irish companies are using Slush to strengthen commercial ties and showcase innovations in AI, fintech and sustainability.

Enterprise Ireland says the strong presence signals Ireland’s ambition to place its start-up ecosystem at the forefront of European innovation.

The momentum behind Irish tech investment remains strong, highlighted by the rise of Tines — Ireland’s newest unicorn — following a $125m Series C round earlier this year.

The company’s trajectory reflects the international ambition of the Irish firms attending Slush, many of which are scaling rapidly across Europe and building strategic partnerships in the region.

Enterprise Ireland will host an Irish Innovation event during Slush, featuring a fireside chat with George Ardagh of Tines, alongside Enterprise Ireland Head of Scaling Finance Karole Egan and industry leaders from global finance.

The session aims to spotlight the strength of Ireland’s tech ecosystem and its role in shaping global innovation trends.

The Irish delegation includes EVERYANGLE, fresh from winning Cisco’s Global AI Innovation Award.

The company will unveil Horizon, its new product designed to turn in-store behaviour into data-driven insights for retailers including H&M and IKEA franchise partners.

Otonomee, the customer-support outsourcing specialist, is partnering with Finland’s Oura to support the health-tech company’s global scale-up.

JustTip is expanding across the Nordics through a partnership with Sweden’s Surfboard Payments, while Marker Video is launching its new app following pilot campaigns with HelloFresh and Unilever.

“Slush is a proven launchpad for Irish innovation, offering a unique opportunity to connect with international investors and partners,” said Viktor Wagner Heide, Senior Market Advisor at Enterprise Ireland Nordics.
