Parts of Paris have been hit by a power blackout this morning, French electricity grid operator Enedis said
Some metro and suburban train lines were halted, it added.
Enedis power was expected to be re-established by 8am GMT (9am French time).
The grid operator did not specify the reasons for the blackout.
