When Rassie Erasmus prematurely left Munster in 2017, he had a feeling that it wouldn’t be the last time he would work with Felix Jones or Jerry Flannery. They gave him a watch to mark his departure, which he values so highly that he has never worn it.
At the time, no one could have foreseen Jones and Flannery going on to become such key members of South Africa’s backroom team, yet eight years later, there they are.
