There has always been a lingering problem in Ireland with Black Friday – dishonest sale practices.
For almost a decade, this newspaper has covered dodgy discount claims, including spoofing and exaggeration from Irish tech retailers that claim price cuts on items that are either discontinued or were previously available at similar prices to the ‘sale’ stickers.
