Status Yellow rain and wind warnings are currently in effect for six counties.
A rain warning for counties Donegal, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo is currently in place until 9pm.
A wind warning is also in effect for Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, Clare and Galway and will last until 2pm.
A separate wind warning will come into effect for Co Wicklow at 10am and will be in effect until 5pm.
Met Éireann has warned of possible spot flooding, difficult travelling conditions and loose debris during the warnings.
