The emerging world of weight-loss drugs continues to astound. Ozempic has become a catch-all term to cover several products that activate the GLP-1 hormone, regulating appetite for food in the brain.
Several ongoing trials for new products show great progression. Oral tablets may soon replace the need for weekly injections. The US remains at the vanguard for these treatments with 12pc of Americans reporting that they are currently taking them. The number is 45pc among Americans with diabetes.
