Hilary Duff is addressing some rumors involving Leonardo DiCaprio and her new song “Mature.”
After the song’s release, fans began wondering about its inspiration — and many roads led back to the actor due to the lyric, “very Leo of you with your Scorpio touch.” (The actor, born Nov. 11, is a Scorpio.)
Then, Duff’s husband Matthew Koma fueled the flames by sharing a meme of DiCaprio, 51, in Titanic with her album artwork on his Instagram Stories.
“First of all, we’re getting the biggest kick out of the speculations,” Duff, 38, said on On Air with Ryan Seacrest on Friday, Nov. 21. “It’s honestly, it’s thrilling. It’s 100% thrilling and the internet is such a funny place. I’m obsessed with everyone and I’m seeing all the videos.”
She continued, “No, you can’t take anything that Matthew posts seriously. He’s the biggest troll on the planet Earth and he will lead everybody down all the roads and have the most fun doing it.”
“Not confirming, not denying anything here,” Duff concluded.
“Mature,” which Duff dropped on Nov. 6, marked her first release in 10 years. The song was cowritten and produced by Koma.
“‘Mature’ is a little conversation that my present self is having with my younger self,” Duff said in a statement at the time.”
“The two of us are reflecting on a past experience and sending love to each other,” she continued. “It’s a chuckle, a wink and a sense of being grateful that we are sure footed in where we landed.”

After she released “Mature,” Duff revealed the title, cover and release date for her upcoming album luck…or something on Nov. 21. The album is set for release on Feb. 20.
“I am often asked how I still have my head on straight after growing up in this industry,” the former child star said in a statement. “The album title is my way of answering that question.”
In January 2026, Duff will play a series of intimate live shows as part of her Small Rooms, Big Nerves mini tour. At the time, she said she was “over the moon to be stepping on stage again.”
