Gardaí are investigating a suspected arson attack on a house in Clondalkin in Dublin this morning in which a woman was seriously injured.
The attack took place just after 10am. Dublin Fire Brigade was called to the scene and the woman was treated by paramedics before she was taken to Tallaght hospital. Her condition is described as critical.
The scene has been preserved for a forensic examination.
Gardaí suspect a petrol bomb may have been used in the attack.
