I’m a Celebrity hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly have cleared things up after viewers noted that new campmate Vogue Williams had been sporting a bandaged leg in recent episodes. Addressing fans on their Instagram Live series, Jungle Club, Ant and Dec confirmed that the Irish presenter had injured her leg while heading to a bushtucker trial.
“Uh, so she fell over on the way to the trial. She was strapped down. She fell over… she was trying to run as fast as she could over the bridge and fell,” Ant clarified, noting that Williams had badly grazed her knee.
It was during Monday’s episode (24 November), that viewers first spotted Williams’ bandage on the show. Taking to social media, many shared their concerns for the Lorraine star. “What has Vogue done to her knee? Looks painful,” tweeted one. Meanwhile, a second added: “Is Vogue aware that her knee is fully bleeding and sore?”
Williams entered the I’m a Celebrity jungle last Friday (21 November), after joining as a late entry alongside fellow TV personality and The Voice star, Tom Read Wilson.
Ahead of her big debut on the show, the presenter penned a heartfelt post on Instagram. “Ahhhhh I can finally let the cat out of the bag,” Williams began. “Keeping this a secret was so difficult, I have a big mouth, physically and literally! Anyone who I’ve ignored when they text asking I’M SORRY!

“I’m so excited for this, very nervous and worried about how much I’ll miss the kids and Spen and all of my family and friends…Oh and my fake tan,” she continued. “I’m up for the challenge and feel very lucky to get asked to be involved. I’ve enjoyed watching this show for so long and it’s always funny seeing someone terrified with snakes on their heads, guess it’s my turn now.”
Wishing her luck, Williams’s husband and Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews posted a sweet tribute to his wife on Tuesday. “Every single banging tune that I listened to today reminded me of her. Sometimes I forget that we can’t talk and think to myself that I’ll call her and share the highs and lows of what we’re going through then remember that I can’t and it immediately makes me feel sad… I hate not speaking to her, it feels so weird,” he noted.

“I’m catching up when I can on her time in the jungle and just find myself grinning ear to ear watching her get more and more comfortable. She is without a doubt the most extraordinary person I’ve met and has always had a deeply positive impact on everyone she meets. Wishing her the absolute best of luck and sending love from afar.”
