LIMERICK FANS have something to look forward to next summer, as acclaimed Irish band Bell X1 announce a gig in one of the city’s most iconic venues. 

The band are set to take over King John’s Castle on Saturday, June 6 next year as part of their summer tour. 

Formed in 1999, Bell X1, fronted by Paul Noonan, with Dave Geraghty and Dominic Phillips, alongside touring members Glenn Keating and Tim O’Donovan, have become one of Ireland’s most popular live acts. 

Known for their versatile sound, spanning indie, pop, rock, folk, and electronica, they have released eight studio albums, four of which were nominated for the Choice Music Prize.

The band are also working on a new studio album, due in 2026. Fans can expect a mix of classic hits and fan favourites when they take to the Limerick stage next June, promising a memorable summer night in the city.

The King John’s Castle show kicks off Bell X1’s Irish summer tour, which also includes Cork, Dublin, and Galway.

Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday, November 28 via bellx1.com/tour. Mailing list members can access a pre-sale from 10am on Wednesday, November 26.
