Irish language playschool in Limerick recognised by the All-Ireland Business Federation

AN IRISH language playschool based in the city has been given a prestigious industry accreditation.
Naíonra na nÓg, based at Old Cratloe Road, on Limerick’s northside, has been awarded an accreditation by the All-Ireland Business Federation (AIBF).
This group has named the playschool as Early Years Learning Centre of the Year in Munster.
The recognition celebrates the centre’s outstanding commitment to early childhood development through the Irish language, nurturing confidence, creativity, and curiosity in a caring environment.
Led by director Yvonne O’Sullivan, Naíonra na nÓg provides Irish language early years and Montessori education for children aged approximately from just over two-and-a-half to five years.

Kieran Ring, deputy chair of the federation’s adjudication board said: “Under Yvonne O’Sullivan’s leadership, the centre has built a reputation for care, trust, and professional excellence. Their bilingual approach and consistent standards of engagement are exemplary, and this accreditation is a well-deserved recognition of their dedication to children and families.”
Ms O’Sullivan said: “We are delighted and proud to receive this accreditation from the All-Ireland Business Foundation. Our aim has always been to create a space where children can learn, grow, and thrive through the Irish language.
“This recognition reflects the commitment of our wonderful staff, the trust of our families, and our shared belief in the value of early education rooted in care and culture.”
Kapil Khanna, managing director of the All-Ireland Business Foundation added: “Naíonra na nÓg has set a benchmark for excellence in early years learning. standards we are proud to celebrate through the Business All-Star programme.”
