Spencer Matthews has spoken out after failing to be at the end of the bridge as his wife Vogue Williams left the I’m A Celebrity camp. Irish model Vogue, 40, became the third star to leave this year’s edition of the hit ITV show.
However, her hubby was nowhere to be seen as she crossed the bridge to speak to Ant and Dec. Following in the footsteps of Eddie Kadi and Alex Scott, Vogue’s time in the jungle is up and instead of former Made In Chelsea man Spencer, she was greeted by her manager.
She left looking unsure as she smiled and gripped onto her friend. But as fans questioned Spencer’s whereabouts, he has now taken to social media to explain his absence. Sharing a snap of the pair smiling on holiday, he captioned his upload: “Disappointed to hear that my gorgeous Vogue is out of I’m A Celeb but I’m so proud of the brave stint she did in there.

“She showed heart, courage and fearlessness in challenges and, as always, was such a positive and pragmatic figure in camp! I would have loved nothing more than to have been there for her when she came out and am sending so much love from Antarctica.
“On the positive side, we can now all FaceTime – I know she will have missed the kids like mad and I can’t wait to hear her voice and for us to all be reunited next week.”
He shared updates of his gruelling challenge on his Stories. And one message shared on the night of Vogue’s eviction was from his wife herself, penned before her jungle experience.

She wrote: “Spence has landed in Antarctica – as I knew he would. This will be the most gruelling part of the whole challenge, but if anyone can push through it, it’s him.”
Spencer took part in the hit ITV show 10 years ago. However, he left the show just three days in as he had been taking steroids and didn’t tell producers. He later called the incident a “serious error of judgement”.

Vogue’s exit on Monday night came after a dramatic episode. During one meal time, Angry Ginge complained that people had been eating out of the camp cups too often. He said they should instead be eating out of containers.
Vogue was quick to respond: “People have the right to have a clean bowl in the morning and a clean whatever they want in the afternoon and a clean one in the evening.”
Vogue went on to touch on Ginge and Aitch’s resistance to chores after leaving camp. In her exit chat, she said: “Ginge and Aitch are a bit resistant to their chores. I don’t really understand the whole cup-gate. I just turned into what I’m like at home.”
And she later branded former model Kelly Brook a “snake”. He brutal shown footage of the model, AngryGinge and Aitch stealing treats from Deals on Wheels challenge.
