The new film comes out January 14.
A new trailer has been released for 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple.
The Bone Temple will be the sequel to Danny Boyle’s 28 Years Later, which aired in cinemas earlier this year.
It will see Cillian Murphy reprising his role of Jim, from the original 2002 film 28 Days Later. Jack O’Connell is also set to return as Sir Jimmy Crystal, as well as Alfie Williams as Spike and Ralph Fiennes as Dr Kelson.
The Bone Temple was shot back to back with 28 Years Later and will be directed by Nia DaCosta while Boyle will take on a producing role.
“In a continuation of the epic story,” the film’s official logline reads, “Dr. Kelson finds himself in a shocking new relationship – with consequences that could change the world as they know it – and Spike’s encounter with Jimmy Crystal becomes a nightmare he can’t escape.
“In the world of The Bone Temple, the infected are no longer the greatest threat to survival – the inhumanity of the survivors can be stranger and more terrifying.”
28 Years Later: The Bone Temple is due out on January 14.
