Heads up, fans of The Masked Singer — your long national nightmare is almost over!

After the lengthiest hiatus in the show’s history to date, the beloved singing competition is finally returning to Fox for what is being hailed as a monumental 14th season on Jan. 7, and Entertainment Weekly has the first exclusive details.

Season 14 promises to take the show’s famous themed episodes to new heights, celebrating some of the most recognizable and nostalgic moments in pop culture history. Chief among them is a special musical anthology episode, “Ozzfest,” honoring legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne, who died in July at 76. The tribute will feature an appearance by his daughter, Kelly, who previously competed on TMS as the Ladybug in season 2 and joins the show once more to pay heartfelt homage to her father and his iconic career and long-lasting impact on the history of music.

Other themed nights include one inspired by the upcoming 60th anniversary of Star Trek, the ‘90s classic teen comedy Clueless, and the beloved animated heroes of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The season also plans to reignite the Team Jacob vs. Team Edward debate with a night dedicated to the blockbuster film franchise The Twilight Saga. It will also channel the ultimate girl power with a Spice Girls celebration, and for all the families watching, bring the joyful, colorful world of Care Bears to the stage, as well.

And, to balance out the cuddly, the competition will take a daring turn with “Fear Night,” featuring none other than Fear Factor: House of Fear host Johnny Knoxville, who joins as a special guest to deliver clues — and a few creepy crawlies — in true Masked Singer style. Gulp.

EW can also reveal the first costume names, some of which seem to have been teased in quick promos released so far. Competing for the Golden Mask Trophy this season will be Eggplant, Pugcasso, Queen Corgi, Scarab, and The Croissants.

In total, 18 brand-new costumes will hit the stage this season, and Fox has teased that they boast “the most decorated contestants in the show’s history, and an unprecedented unmasking that will send shockwaves through the competition!” So far, accolades released for the contestants include: 94 million records sold, 21 platinum singles, 3 Emmy wins, 3 hall of famers, 3 World Series wins, and more than 54,438,800 Instagram followers.

Nick Cannon returns once more as host, and panelists Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, Ken Jeong, Robin Thicke, and Rita Ora all return as well for more guessing, more dad jokes, and more making fun of “Ken Jeong Wrong.”

The Masked Singer is produced by FOX Entertainment Studios. Rosie Seitchik, Craig Plestis, and Cannon serve as executive producers, with Seitchik also serving as showrunner. The series is based on the South Korean format created by Mun Hwa Broadcasting Corp.
