Aidan McCarthy is not part of the Clare squad for 2026
It looks like the Clare senior hurlers will be without Aidan McCarthy heading into 2026 with the Banner forward not returning to Brian Lohan’s squad for pre-season training.
McCarthy was a vital cog as Clare scaled the All-Ireland SHC summit in 2024 with the Inagh/Kilnamona attacker taking up free-taking responsilities to great effect on their way to Liam MacCarthy Cup success.
