It’s inevitable that the stars of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! would feel a little low from time to time, isolated from their families in the Australian jungle.

Unfortunately, Vogue Williams was one such star who fell victim to a mental health struggle during her time in the jungle, before becoming the third celebrity to be voted off the show.

Catching up with her best pal, Joanne McNally, on their My Therapist Ghosted Me podcast, Vogue admitted she had a ‘meltdown’ in camp, and ‘I couldn’t control it’.

The mum-of-three, who was greeted by her agent upon her eviction as her husband, Spencer Matthews, is gallivanting across the globe doing marathons, admitted: ‘I did have one incident, because you know I am crazy about my sleep, and if I don’t sleep I get anxious, and I worry about my sleep.

‘I started having an absolute meltdown, just lying there going [to myself] “Please sleep please sleep” and I had to go up to the bush telegraph and I started having a panic attack.’

‘And I was going: “Please don’t show this because everyone will see how mental I am” I couldn’t control it, I was having a complete panic attack,’ Vogue continued.

The TV personality praised the ‘lovely’ crew who managed to calm her down before she had the chance to speak with the show’s therapist, Sandra, the day after.

‘[Sandra] just completely [calmed me down] I was like “do you do therapy in London?” because she was so good,’ Vogue continued.

Joanne commended how the duty of care on reality TV shows has come on in leaps and bounds, saying that her pal, Vogue, would have previously been left ‘flipping and flopping’ with nobody ‘giving a s**t’ about her meltdown.
